The firm

Private equity for the next stage of ownership.

Alderspan Capital manages $4.8 billion in equity capital, focused on established middle-market businesses in business services, industrial technology, and enterprise software.

Investment mandate

We make equity commitments of $50 million to $250 million through control investments and significant minority positions. Our focus is on businesses with established customers, identifiable cash flows, and a practical plan for reinvestment.

Ownership situations

We consider founder and family ownership transitions, corporate carve-outs, and expansion capital. Each requires an explicit agreement on decision rights, management responsibilities, and the capital the business will need after closing.

Work after investment

The ownership plan connects commercial priorities with operating capacity: customer retention, pricing, working capital, management depth, and the systems needed to support expansion. Acquisitions are considered where they strengthen that plan, not as a substitute for it.
